Endeavor Advanced Research Center on Natural History

One of the core goals of the Corporation is to generate a local pole of world-class science to convene national and foreign scientists and to set up a benchmark for collaborative work on Earth sciences and the study of the Natural History. To do this, a research center will be settled to develop three main areas: paleontology, geosciences and biodiversity and evolution.

This research center will allow the continuous development of scientific activity in the region of Atacama, allowing the study of the region’s fossils and natural patrimony, as well as the collaboration and joint work in researches along the country and with foreign institutions. This new knowledge collected in our region will be the base for the sustainable development of the project, positioning Atacama in science and all-level education, as well as generating visibility and high-impact pieces of news for the local and global media.
